Quote file and device paths, drop the bogus grep filter on find results,
detect dnf/pacman/xbps-install individually, and chain apt-get update
with install.

molluskandClaude Opus 5.5 dd004108f2 aping.sh: fix exit status checks and LAN IP lookup 
Save ping's exit status before testing it (the second $? check read the
first test's result), treat 0 as success, pass player_opts as an array,
and use ip instead of the deprecated ifconfig.

Replace the invalid 'else [ ... ];then' with elif, detect players with
command -v, and print an error when no player is installed.
